Motortec Automechanika, a benchmark in the automotive sector
From 13 to 16 March, some 60,000 professionals from the Iberian Peninsula, Latin America, North Africa and some European countries witnessed the latest developments and the projection of the automotive industry in Spain.
With around 600 exhibiting companies and 8% more surface area occupied than in the previous edition, Motortec Automechanika Madrid 2019 has consolidated itself as the main business platform for the automotive industry in Southern Europe and has provided an opportunity for training and networking for professionals in the sector.
Sustainability and energy efficiency were the main themes of this edition. The most outstanding solutions were, among others, the ones presented by Bosch in the field of after-sales, specifically in the maintenance and servicing of vehicles.
Motortec Automechanika Madrid 2019 has also recognized the innovation of component manufacturers with the 10th edition of the Innovation Gallery Awards. In fact, the automotive sector is characterized by its strong investment in R+D+i, and specifically Spanish component industry invests more than 4% of its manufacturing (1,530 million euros) in this area.
