Complete automation from the plastic injection plant to the warehouse
At Escubedo we are very satisfied to have already completed the second phase of implementation of the new robotic palletizer. Now we can make automated pallets that combine all types of boxes. In this way, once the system receives a new dispatch order, it calculates the optimal packaging to minimize the number of pallets. Thus, the robotic palletizer takes out the different packaging units from the automatic lines and delivers the finished pallets for the warehouse to deliver them to the carrier. A great step forward that provides speed and efficiency in the logistics department.
In parallel to the final implementation of the robotic palletizer, we have also connected the plastic injection plant with the finished product warehouse using Weasel® robots. Through a surface tunnel that connects the two warehouses, the Weasel® robots deliver the boxes automatically.
Escubedo has now achieved the challenge that all the manufactured products go automatically to the dispatch warehouse.
