Escuturco is going to digital transformation in production

ProManage has been successfully implemented

Bringing a brand new dimension to the industrial revolution by bringing together information technologies and industrial activities, Industry 4.0 has enabled us to step into smart factories today. Escuturco has switched to the new automation process with the new generation efficiency, sustainability and digital energy method it targets in production.

Escuturco, being one of the plants of Escubedo, Europe's leading terminal and connector manufacturer, took the first step towards the Smart Factory project, which it implemented in line with its digital transformation vision.

Escuturco will provide the management of complex production flow and large production areas, and the delivery of all information about product production to the operators with the support of the Internet of Things (IoT). Every layer of the smart Factory transition project, which was designed in accordance with Escuturco's production areas and business processes, down to the smallest details, was developed with advanced technology applications, from the planning stage to the implementation.

Thanks to the established IoT infrastructure, the project allows instantaneous and error-free vehicle and process tracking with the highest precision. Different departments such as logistics, production, quality, sales and export can instantly access all the information they need about production and delivery. Escuturco’s COO Alp Güven said the following about the completion of the Smart Factory project:

“The Escuturco production structure is established to follow the communication of objects. With the Promanage production, quality, maintenance and energy method modules we have obtained, we complete the first step of the smart factory project by digitizing the real-time monitoring of production, the management of autonomous and predictive maintenance processes, the control of quality processes and energy savings.

With automation systems, other technological and digital investments to be made in the coming periods, we will move forward on the path of zero error and personnel-free production.”
