Escubedo beats Trailwalker record

In a total time of 22 hours, 44 minutes and 34 seconds, our team beat the time record of Escubedo's participation in this charity race.

The Escubedo team managed to complete the 100 km hike of the new edition of the Oxfam Trailwalker Girona in a total time of 22 hours, 44 minutes and 34 seconds, two hours less than in the 2018 edition.

The Trailwalker Girona took place on 6 and 7 April with a route from Olot to Sant Feliu de Guíxols, along which our team beat the time record of Escubedo's participation in this charity race.

With start number G169, the team formed by Miquel Jou Cortada, Manuel Prieto Pérez, Belén Area Costas and Toni Salguero, with the support of Jordi Feliu Pujadas and Joan Rota Boadella, did their best to finish the race in less than 24 hours. Congratulations to everyone!

With a positive slope of 423 metres and a negative slope of almost 1,000 metres, the 100 km ran along the Girona Rail Trail. More than three hundred teams took up the challenge of the Trailwalker to contribute to this solidarity cause.

Donation of 1,500 € for access to drinking water

With our donation of 1,500 €, we once again contributed to bring drinking water to people living below the poverty line in more than ninety countries where Oxfam is present. The money raised will be used in a total of four hundred cooperation, humanitarian action and fair-trade projects.

Since the first edition of this charity race in Spain, more than 2,400 teams have taken part in it and Intermón Oxfam has raised more than five million euros.
